Volunteers offer companionship, emotional support, and practical, assistance wherever the patient resides. Enhancing the comfort and quality of life for the patient.
Volunteering in hospice care provides many benefits for the volunteers, including being able to make a difference in the lives of others, personal growth, and a greater appreciation of what is really important in life.
Volunteers are trained using a variety of forums, via PowerPoint training, videos, and by attending Inter-disciplinary meetings.
All Volunteers are provided with N95 masks, gloves, and regular masks in the event they are required to wear them while at their assignment.
Face to face interview 2 modules of training for a total of 20 hrs, with ongoing training every 2- 3 months
