Yard CoordinatorAt — Ingomar Packing Company

Job Function: Main Task: Coordinate the dumping of multiple trailers in order to meet customer specifications. 

Secondary tasks:

• Work as a team to maintain a sustainable yard for both your shift and the next. 
• Conduct daily yard inventory/inventories. 
• Recognize and fix any discrepancies found in the yard. 
• Calculate carryover and  sustainable mixes at the beginning of each shift and/or any necessary  time. 
• Communicate with multiple personnel (supervisors, lab techs, dice sterilizers, control room, etc.) Several times a day. 
• Approve or reject loads outside of state regulated parameters.

As a yard coordinator your primary task is to coordinate the dumping of multiple and unique loads to meet customer specifications upon final product. You must be able to think critically and be perceptive to changes in mixes, variety changes, etc. to maintain a sustainable yard and/or make any necessary adjustments to the mix. You must calculate carryover daily to see if loads need to be added or dropped, conduct daily inventories to check for errors, and fix any discrepancies between what shows in the system and what is physically present. 

Requirements

• Experience Requirements: Will train
• Computer Skills: Entry Level computer skills, specifically with Excel, Word, and Outlook. 
• Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
