Opportunity Summary 

Under the direction of the assigned administrator and as part of a treatment team this position implements evidence-based behavior reduction and skill acquisition programs developed by a Board Certified Board Analyst (BCBA) based on the science of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in one-on-one and in group settings. Behavioral Tech, one-on-one Instructional Aide.

Requirements / Qualifications

REQUIRED: The following must be submitted by the deadline date in order for your application to be considered for this position:

  • Unofficial College Transcripts (if you have over 48 college units completed or completed AA degree) OR Satisfactory results from a Proficiency test
  • OPTIONAL: Letters of Recommendation ((3 recent letters; DATED & SIGNED within the past 18 months)) Applicants who meet both education and experience may be invited for Proficiency testing, unless already compliant.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Satisfactory results from pre-employment physical required. Must pass prior to employment.
  • HS Diploma/Equivalent
  • Satisfactory results from a Proficiency Exam OR 48 semester units of college coursework.
  • 1 year of experience working with students on an individual education plan (IEP) with physical or verbal challenging behaviors.

UPON HIRE MUST PRESENT:

  • TB clearance,
  • High School Diploma,
  • Official Transcripts,
  • DMV Driving Record Printout,
  • CA Driver's License, and Proof of Auto Insurance Liability (MUST be listed as a driver).

COMPLETE a 40-hour training (online or in-person) based on Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and satisfactorily demonstrate mastery of the ABA competencies within one year of hire.
