Audio production internAt — Blue Chip Broadcasting Group

Opportunity Summary 

Intern will produce all the audio broadcasts for basketball and baseball along with working with the video producer of the CCAA Network to make sure the audio is synching with the video both in play by play and commercial breaks. She will also be providing information during the broadcasts live on air (i.e. weather update for baseball, scoreboard, events/activities on campus, etc. She will also host our annual sponsor appreciation night in late April for our corporate partners.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

How to produce an live broadcast, communicate live on the air with proper terminology, pace and voice inflection. She will learn how to prepare, monitor and host an event for sponsors during a baseball game towards the end of the season.

Opportunity Training 

They will learn the ins and outs of the audio production. They will learn how to communicate live on the air and be provided a script that they can make their own so it sounds natural. They will learn how to be a hospitable host for an event of local business people and their friends/employees.
