Program Management InternAt — Habitat for Humanity

Opportunity Summary 

Interns will collaborate with a diverse and talented set of colleagues across the organization on challenging, high-impact projects designed to help them learn, grow, and gain a deeper understanding of what it's like to work with us. Interns will get hands-on experience, opportunities to build their leadership, project management and time management skills, exposure to the operations and administration of a non-profit organization, opportunities for networking with diverse members of the community, and opportunities to be involved in future Habitat Merced Stanislaus special events. Habitat for Humanity is a global nonprofit housing organization working in nearly 1,400 communities across the United States and in approximately 70 countries around the world. Our affiliate serves communities across Merced and Stanislaus Counties.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

To seek out job opportunities they wouldn’t otherwise discover on their own and gives the students real-world work experience in their preferred field of employment.

Opportunity Training 

We'll do an initial assessment with interns and provide any necessary training on programs, policies and procedures -- available in the employee handbook and accessible to any longterm volunteers.
