Opportunity Summary
The volunteer tutor will be trained to provide one-on-one instruction in our adult literacy and/or HSE program.
Opportunity Learning Outcomes
Students will have learned how to teach an adult learner to read, improve their reading and writing skills and/or assist with instruction in high school equivalency subjects.
Opportunity Training
Trainings provided are: Components of reading, grammar, math and other subjects.
Additional risk specific to this opportunity
There are safety measures in place at our main office and with any contracting agency.
