Opportunity Summary 
  1. Outreach to and support of the regional 9-12 grade social science and earth science teachers to encourage the participation of teachers and high school students (with a focus on AP Human Geog and AP Environmental Science Classes). 

  2. Outreach to and support of community field trips and networking events - with a focus on climate change and agricultural/environmental resources and regional social justice. We hope to work with partners such as:

    1. E&J Gallo Viticulture Research & the Cardovas

    1. Burroughs Family Farms, Fiscalini Cheese, and Pageo Lavendar Farm

    2. TID

    3.  Dos Rios Ranch 

    4. UC Reserves Merced Vernal Pools & Grasslands, McConnell SRA, and San Luis National Wildlife Refuge

    5. Stanislaus State Facilities Water Tour

    6. Modesto Art Museum

    7. Turlock Historical Society

  3. Outreach to and support of regional geography, environmental studies, natural resources, urban planning community college instructors and students to o encourage their participation.

  4. Logistical support for the Stan/State and CGS events.
