Opportunity Summary 

The goal of this internship is to provide Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, and/or related field student(s) with valuable hands-on experience in a real-world environment in order to contribute to the furtherment of their career and the success of Stanislaus County Behavioral Health and Recovery Services.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

The way by which this will occur is through exposure to real-world experience with concepts of data analysis and reporting including internal process improvements like working with and updating ETL processes, Data warehouse components (Views, Tables, Stored Procedures, etc.) and working with our EHR Team and Outcomes and Evaluations Management Team to meet state reporting requirements and generate visual reports to track department Performance Improvement Projects (PIPs).

Opportunity Training 

Students will be trained in key core competency relating to classification - HIPAA, security training, excel training, data analyze, etc.
