Opportunity Summary
The Alternative to Suspension Program is designed for students grade 7th-12th as an alternative to traditional home suspension. The goal of A2S is to for students to gain skills necessary to avoid further disciplinary actions.
Opportunity Learning Outcomes
Learning outcomes are statements that describe the knowledge or skills students should acquire by the end of the opportunity.
Opportunity Training
Observation of staff teaching the lesson, direct supervision with feedback, and training regarding the program.
Opportunity Application Instructions
Student will need to be cleared as a supervised volunteer with the district.
Students must Provide a copy of course syllabus to supervisor.
