Opportunity Summary 

This internship provides an opportunity to cultivate your counseling skills for children 1st through 12th grade. You will be trained in weekly supervision on how to support and assist a child in acquiring the pro-social skills needed to enhance their quality of everyday life. We as a team will explore wellness concepts and strategies to introduce to children as it relates to their current challenges. Supervision will focus on developing your own personal style of engagement and introducing various treatment modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, IPT and PST.

Opportunity Training 

Group supervision every Tuesday with all interns (approximately 6 to 8 interns). Individual supervision is on Thursdays. Morning briefings take place with the intern team on Tuesday and Thursday mornings to help set the tone for the day and to ensure everyone has a plan in place.
