In the heart of California’s Central Valley, Turlock is the second largest city in Stanislaus County with a population which has grown steadily from 13,992 in 1970 to over 69,000 today. Home of California State University Stanislaus (CSUS), Turlock provides an unusual opportunity to combine a quality learning environment with relaxed rural living.

Community Climate Solutions' mission is to help communities engage residents to learn about the solutions to climate change and what actions they can take to help. On average, 40-60% of a city's greenhouse gas emissions come from basic household activities like energy use, transportation, food choices and waste. Most people are worried about climate change and want to help and there are many actions everyone can do that not only help with climate change, but also help families save money, improve their health and support the creation of local jobs.
