Opportunity Summary 

Research position for a student to conduct zebrafish research.  The student will perform behavioral and confocal experiments to determine the molecular cause of autism spectrum disorder (ASD). 

Confocal microscopy
Behavioral pharmacology
Assistance in writing an academic paper.

Training:

Confocal microscopy
Behavioral pharmacology
1-3 meetings a week
Participation in writing an academic paper.

Multiple meeting will occur with the student every week.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of the academic internship, the student will be able to conduct zebrafish research. This includes behavioral pharmacology and confocal microscopy.
