Course Assistants should have earned an “A-“ or better in 302 (Learning and Memory), although it’s not required they took the course with me. I’m restructuring this course around a SPEC grading model, which will provide UCAs the opportunity to learn about this “new” model and get some hands-on experience with its implementation. Each course assistant will be in charge of a small group of students (hopefully 10-15 or less), and their primary responsibility will be grading weekly assignments, activities, discussion forums, and other exercises for completion, and providing general feedback or pointing out areas of concern to me. Applicants should be available 5-10 hours per week to complete grading. The position is online/remote.
