Opportunity Summary 

Shadow independent producer as she releases a vertical series and develops brand and funding partners for a documentary. She's won more than a dozen awards as a screenwriter and film producer. Her most recent documentary is Imagine a School … Summerhill starring Rebecca DeMornay, Jake Weber, Tom Conti, Orson Bean and Peter Coyote is available on Apple TV. She also produced the narrative feature Letting Go starring Todd Stashwick, Bokeem Woodbine, Christopher Knight, Eliza Roberts, Peter Scolari, and legendary music producer David Foster. It's available on Amazon Prime. 

She is a graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts with a concentration in Dramatic Writing

She is currently working on two projects. The first is a vertical series that will be released in early 2025. The second is  a documentary film, based on her book The Truth About Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, targeted for musicians who suffer from playing. Our brand partners on the project include, The Grammy Foundation, ASCAP, Musicians Union, Musicians Institute, Martin Guitars, Shure Microphones and others.

Tasks:

Assigned tasks that will demonstrate your facility in these objectives including developing and executing a strategic marketing plan and a strategic funding plan using marketing and advertising techniques. Demonstrate basic skills assembling graphic design templates that communicate project objectives and audience. Creating spreadsheet of potential brand partners. Outlining information dissemination plan for marketing ecosystem. 

Training:

Shadow film’s producer, assigned reading, review similar strategies of other projects.

To help you achieve these goals, you'll study production and financing plans for film, marketing, and ancillary product strategies. Learn how to create a recognizable film brand and accompanying marketing ecosystem. Identify potential brand partners, what sponsorship details you should include and how to approach them. Learn to leverage information dissemination plans and why they’re used. Shadow film’s producer, assigned reading, review similar strategies of other documentaries.

Learning outcome:

You will learn how to promote a film to the entertainment industry, raise funds and distribute through developing brand partners, production planning, and online ecosystem design.
