Opportunity Summary 

We are a boutique marketing agency offering web design and graphic design services. We develop strategic marketing campaigns primarily for non-profit organizations. Please see some of our past design projects, https://70degrees.org/services/design. Remote opportunities are available. We use Trello to manage the weekly assignments.

Desired Skills and Expertise

Ability to edit current client websites and help develop new content
Can contribute to weekly Field Notes by visiting museum sites, highlight events, or find cultural. This series is published in MailChimp (email marketing campaign) and WordPress (website content management system)
Write about cultural or historic events that may interest readers in a Medium article-styled format
Familiar with Hootsuite/Later to schedule social media posts to all channels (Our team will review prior to posting)Write original posts on history, literature, and culturally relevant events
Highlight partnered facilities as stories and reposts on social media

Edit using The Chicago Manual of Style, Modern Language Association (MLA), and AP Style Book writing standards

Optional Skills and Expertise:

Familiar with WordPress developed websites

Can add text and media to pages

Training:

A Titan will work with 70 Degrees to review our monthly newsletters and schedule posts for clients. We help with copy writing and source original content to feature throughout the month. We meet in person in Laguna Hills for the Moulton Museum or remotely with 70 Degrees via Zoom.

Learning Outcome:

A Titan will learn to reach out to new communities and find new online avenues. We manage press releases for upcoming events and promote our partners. In turn, you will learn to follow style guides and bring growth to organizations.
