Bloom Behavioral Health is a company that specializes in providing behavioral therapy to children with developmental disabilities to maximize their potential. Join our team as a Behavioral Therapist providing direct therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. You will receive initial and ongoing training, mentorship, supervision, and support. This is a part-time position, flexible, and a great opportunity to gain experience working with children with developmental disabilities.
You will gain:
- Basic understanding of behavioral principles and interventions
- Understand how to collect data, write clinical session summary notes, and follow a clinical decision protocol on your client's progress
You will learn the following skills:
- Implementation of prescribed interventions developed by your supervisor (Behavior Analyst).
- Implementation of Active Engagement Skills (AES) with client.
- Demonstrate Decision Tree Protocol procedures or data collection and analysis as assessed by Graph Checks.
- Demonstrate the ability to capture and contrive learning opportunities with client.
- Gain a better understanding of children with Autism and Developmental Disabilities and it's impact on children and families
Behavioral Therapy is provided in the client's home and we serve families in North Orange County.
Behavior Therapists work directly in the home with Bloom Behavioral Health's patients. Our patients have a diagnosis of autism and require direct 1:1 intervention. The Behavior Therapist is required to perform tasks as outlined and directed by the program supervisor. Behavior Therapists will create structured learning opportunities for the client and implement behavioral strategies. The Behavior Therapist is also required to collect data on the client's responses and graph at the end of every session. Behavior Therapist work directly 1:1 with the client in the home implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methods under the supervision from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Behavior Therapist will implement programs unique to address the individual client needs and collect data on their responses. The data collected by the Behavior Therapist will assist the program supervisor to make modifications to the program if needed. The Behavior Therapists facilitate goals in the areas of communication, social skills, play skills, adaptive skills, community integration, and behavior reduction goals. The position is highly rewarding, fast paced, and requires energetic individuals who are passionate about helping others and open to learning.
Training:
Staff will be trained in Applied Behavior Analysis principles, theory, philosophy, and how to implement behavior tactics and strategies. Staff will also be trained on how to collect data, graph, and make data-based decisions on their client's learning.

\uf06c Implementation of prescribed intervention with treatment integrity as assessed by Teacher Performance Rate Accuracy (TPRA) with 80% accuracy or higher.
