Pay Range: $18 - $25 /hour for clinical work* (based on experience)

Sign-on Bonus: $500 for new employees! $2,500 for new employees that hold an active RBT certification!  (Paid out after 1 month of working with clients)

What you’ll do as a Behavior Technician:

  • Work one-on-one with children with autism in one of our centers or a home-based setting. 
  • Reinforce positive behavior utilizing therapeutic techniques learned in our industry leading training program! 
  • Track client progress and growth by keeping electronic health data on your company-provided iPad.

The intern will work with 1:1 with an autistic individual which will include implementing a behavior reduction plan, utilizing ABA strategies, implementing skill acquisition plans, collecting and analyzing data, conducting preference assessments, verbal reporting to various stakeholders.

Training:

Training includes a 40 hour training on the basics of applied behavior analysis including in person and virtual modules. Thereafter, training is provided on a weekly or bi-weekly basis with in person supervision provided by an licensed individual to model and make modification to the treatment plan.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of the academic internship, the student will be able to utilize applied behavior analysis strategies with autistic individuals, collect and analyze data, implement behavior reduction and skill acquisition plans, and communicate with various stakeholders (e.g., parents, supervisors, occupational therapists).
