Guest Relations Management InternAt — Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa
Assists with management of the staff. Trains personnel. Uses interpersonal skills to mediate conflicts between employees and to handle challenging guests. Provides superior guest services and builds strong relationships with clients.
Tasks
Managing the front desk staff, including giving daily direction as needed.
Completing the staff work schedule,
Interacting with guests on a daily basis, including handling difficult customers who demand to speak with a manager.
Advising owners on the daily events at the business and seeking their direction as needed.
Assuring compliance with all healthcare directives
Training
Training will include a detailed orientation on the business, the work environment, culture, and expectations of the staff. We will have weekly mentor meetings with ownership to monitor progress and set goals for the coming weeks. You will work as an active manager with actual supervisory roles over certain employees, particularly the front desk staff. You will be responsible for learning all related business and computer systems by following training materials provided by the corporate offices.
