Tasks
Patient care, laundry and equipment set up and take down. As well as filing of exercise sheets for patients and assisting with set ups when approved.
Aides might ask for assistance from interns with set up of obstacle course, help with getting hot packs or cold packs for patients as well as correct filing and understanding of how file system works.

Training
Interns receive an orientation from the intern coordinator as well as the office manager. They are trained with the same responsibilities as PT aides within the office such as, patient care, laundry and equipment set up and take down. As well as filing of exercise sheets for patients and assisting with set ups when approved.

Learning Outcomes
By the end of the internship, the students should be able to understand what exactly we do in the office to help patients. Understand exercise sheets, as far as modalities, heat pack set ups and recovery programs.
