Emerging Talent Associate, CommerceAt — Warner Music Group

We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join our innovative and highly sought-after Commerce team at Rhino as an Emerging Talent Associate (ETA).  This ETA will analyze data and communicate findings to other teams. You will receive requests from throughout the label and the broader catalog team, making this a great opportunity to make a lot of connections with music industry professionals within a short period of time. Working closely with our catalog will both sharpen your analytical skills and knowledge of music. You will also get to work in a casual environment and get to see first hand what a catalog label does on a daily basis.

• Update weekly reports as new data is processed
• Assist in developing sales and streaming projections for upcoming projections
• Learn to use our available data systems
• Communicate business insights from your analyses to your manager and the broader team
• Work closely with colleagues from Commerce and Marketing to apply data and insights in a practical fashion
• Keep up with music industry news and trends and think critically about how they apply to our business

Training:

Learning the data systems WMG uses, basic Excel and SQL training

Learning Outcomes:

use data coding languages such as SQL, learn how to pull data and display it visually, learn to think analytically to solve business problems, understand how the music industry works
