Opportunity Summary 

-Apply previous knowledge towards assisting students with course material through exam study sessions
-Grading lab reports and other assignments with key assistance
-Inputting grades into Canvas
-Answering student questions through email and Canvas

Learning Outcomes  

By the end of the internship, the student will have a clearer understanding of learning and memory in psychology by tutoring others, be able to dissect lab reports, have a mastery of Canvas from an instructor point-or-view, and analyze student engagement and performance through statistical measures.

Training  

To help the student achieve the proposed learning outcomes, I will advise him on how to hold study sessions and what to plan for. I will provide him a key and instructions on how to dissect lab reports as well as show him how to use Canvas as a TA in regard to submitting grades. Lastly, I will show him how to analyze student performance through CogLab statistics and instruct him on when it's appropriate to deduct points for engagement.

Tasks/Duties  

The intern will demonstrate the learning outcomes by successfully holding at least one study session before the midterm or final as well as accurately inputting grades in a timely manner starting with Sniffy reports.
