Fibromyalgia Lab Interns work with faculty affiliated with the CSUF Fibromyalgia and Chronic Pain Center, collecting data, conducting library research, conducting data entry/analysis, and participating in conference presentations.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the internship, the student will be able to (1) enter and code data into SPSS, (2) conduct basic statistical analyses, and (3) understand the abstract submission process for conferences
Training
To help the student achieve the proposed learning outcomes, I will (1) hold regular lab meetings with all interns, (2) pair interns with graduate student mentors and oversee their joint research projects, and (3) assign each student to a conference abstract and/or manuscript team
Tasks/Duties
Lab interns will enter, code, and analyze data. They will assist with conference abstract and manuscript preparation.
