Part Time Therapist (no experience needed)At — Advanced Behavioral Health

We work with kids of all ages providing ABA therapy. We are a Top Workplace in Orange County and are looking for enthusiastic therapists to join our team.

We are looking for part-time & full-time candidates to work with our awesome kiddos. We have immediate availability to work between 8:00 AM-7:00 PM Monday through Friday (4-32 hours per week). We also have optional weekend hours. We are super flexible and will work around your schedule.

No experience necessary - you will receive comprehensive PAID training and weekly oversight with our credentialled supervisors.

You will teach a wide range of skills from language and communication, social skills, self-help skills, and play skills.

Requirements and Responsibilities:

• High school diploma, BA/BS degree, or working towards a degree.
• Must be energetic, reliable, caring, and have means of transportation
• Must complete a background check - we reimburse the cost
• Conduct one-on-one sessions in homes, schools, clinics, and in the community,
• driving to each location as needed
• Collect daily data via tablets
• Implement positive behavioral supports developed by supervisors
• Facilitate social skill play dates
• Work directly with families to teach programs, integrate siblings into sessions, and work within the home and community settings

All services provided by our company are high energy, interactive, and physical in nature. As such, the position requires the employee to:

• Get up quickly from the floor

Tasks:

You will teach a wide range of skills to clients that will help to further their autonomy and independence throughout their daily routines. These skills consist of, but are not limited to, language and communication, social skills, self-help skills, and play skills.

Training:

Paid training on concepts, data collection, and scientific-based therapy used through working with children.

We provide introductory and ongoing training for all team members.  The introductory training includes online training on our LMS system, and then we have the team members overlap at the clinic and shadow.  Once that is complete we then have the team member overlap at sessions that are conducted in the client's home.  From there the direct supervisor on the case the team member is assigned will overlap with them at their sessions (Team members could be overseen by multiple supervisors, depending on the number of clients they are assigned).  From there the direct supervisors provide ongoing supervision/support on the weekly basis (one to one meetings/Supervision) where they provide team members with feedback and support.  Our Supervisors are also on call at any time if a team member has any questions or concerns outside of session time.

All mandatory training  cover policies/procedures, which include safety protocols, as well as covering lesson formats and teaching strategies that could be implemented during a client's session.
