Extended Care StaffAt — Saint Norbert Catholic School

Seeking individuals who are creative, talented, and hard-working that are interested in becoming part of the extended care team that is passionate about working together to create a fun and safe environment for students after school. 

Tasks
- Provide students with the appropriate supervision and leadership.
- Assist director with day-to-day tasks.
- Plan grade appropriate activities.
- Enforce student behaviors.
- Communicate with parents on a daily basis.

Training
Student will be provided safe environment training that showcases how to properly keep students and campus safe. They will also meet with director to go to over proper lessons, along with discussions of any needed adjustments to help inclusivity among students with different learning needs. They will also shadow experienced staff and teachers throughout the campus.

Learning Outcomes
By the end of the academic internship, the student will be able to:
1. Plan age appropriate lessons.
2. Observe student behavior and the outcomes.
3. Assist and Instruct during homework.
4. Recognize proper teaching techniques.
5. Properly direct and manage student behavioral issues that arise
