Assist the Amazon Project Management team with customer interaction, project planning, and employee management

The student will learn the way that meets are conducted. They will learn workplace professionalism and how to handle situations when things are going south. The student will shadow project managers and what it takes to effectively communicate and handle escalations especially with a customer like Amazon.

Training:

The student will mainly have a mentor walk through the tasks that have been assigned after being able to sit in on meetings with Amazon, a billion dollar company. They will hear the issues and be taught first hand how to handle these issues and then be given the liberty to try it on their own. They will always have a mentor next to them to walk them through what it looks like on these projects every day especially with escalations on site.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of the academic internship, the student will be able to communicate effectively to difficult vendors and customer

By the end of the academic internship, the student will be able to manage multiple tasks and data sheets

By the end of the academic internship, the student will be able to understand how to measure KPIs and how to improve upon them

By the end of the academic internship, the student will be able to manage multiple projects with multiple sites
