Assistant Preschool TeacherAt — KKJ Services Group, Ind DBA Garden Grove Montessori Academy

The position will assist the classroom teacher to implement
the curriculum and help with learning environment. The assistant
classroom teacher will help to maintain clean, safe, and caring
environment. She will help monitor the children during playground
activities and also assist during snack and lunch time. In the classroom
the assistant will in the classroom with academic learning and paperwork.
She will give breaks to other teachers, attend staff meetings, interact with
the parents when the classroom teacher busy.

Assist the classroom teacher to manage and implement daily classroom activities.
Learn to develop the curriculum and academic paperwork.
Help monitor the preschoolers during classroom time, play time,
and meal times.
Help maintain clean and safe environment for the children.
Attend the staff meetings, preschool rules, and proper communication
with staff and the parents.

Training:

The intern will work with the classroom teacher to learn how
to manage the classroom daily schedule and implement age appropriate activities. The intern will get opportunity to develop the curriculum under the supervision of the head teacher. She will get the opportunity to monitor the preschoolers behavior during daily activities. The intern will learn the observation and communication by interacting with the children, staff, and the parents.

Learning outcomes:

The intern will get hands-on experience and learn the classroom
management. She will also get an understanding of preschool children
behavior and how the little ones think and act their emotional and
physical needs. The intern will learn to develop curriculum and academic paperwork. The intern will also learn the communication skills in interacting with children, staff, and parents.
