We Care Staff InternAt — Salesian Family Youth Center

Inter will be assigned a specific grade and they will assist the students with their homework, along with helping the staff with running activities. 

1. Helping the kids with their homework and helping staff member run different activities, which consist of arts and crafts, cooking, sports, and STEAM.
2. Helping staff watching the kids when they have time to play/free time and helping pick up once the day is over.
3. Helps serve lunch to the kids
4. Talk/Communicate with parents of kids intern is overseeing that day regarding, (homework, behavior, etc.)

Training:

He will receive the General employe orientation, so he can be familiar with what we do at the Salesian Family Youth Center and how to work the students.
Another training will be job shadowing, a staff member will be in charge of over seeing intern and making sure they help them in anything they need. They will let intern run the homework session.

Learning Outcomes:

1. Work and communicate more effectively with kids of all age groups.
2. Better communicate with parents and improve customer service skills.
3. Have a better understanding of what it takes to work as a team and get the job done together.
