Opportunity Summary 

    • Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to individuals with developmental delays/Autism. As a Behavior Technician, you’ll have the exciting role of helping individuals with autism learn, grow, and build communication and socialization skills. 

    • Collect data to demonstrate each client’s progress towards reaching his or her goals.

    • Analyze data by using our proprietary electronic data collection software.

    • Reliable transportation and valid CA driver's license and driver's insurance are required.

After 45-50 hours of training, the student will be assigned to her/his own clients to provide 1:1 ABA therapy and will be treated like a regular employee.

Training: 

-General employer orientation
-ABA training including learning technics and medical terms
-Shadowing other therapists and learning the ABA software
-CPR training
-Ongoing overlap at the session by the supervisor to provide extra support and feedback to increase further learning opportunities

Learning Outcomes:

Help children/individuals with autism and other developmental delays learn, grow, and build communication, socialization and self-help skills. Also, the student will learn how to target the individual's set goals, track data and write session notes describing technics used to work with the individual.
