Opportunity Summary 

The Seasonal Business Research Intern will play an essential role in identifying potential sponsors and partners for Digital4Good, collecting key data needed to target organizations whose partnership would provide mutually advantageous opportunities. An ideal candidate will have excellent research skills in addition to strong written and verbal communication skills, as this role will require cross-functional collaboration with multiple internal teams.

Tasks:

Identify the attributes of an ideal sponsor or grant
Craft compelling letters of inquiry and grant proposals for application and renewal of Education/Outreach funding
Thoroughly research potential community and corporate sponsorship opportunities
Analyze and present findings to the Business Development team
Maintain clear communication with team members on status of assigned project(s) through weekly meetings with the team and supervisor
Attend quarterly Advisory Steering Committee

Training:

Students will have an initial general orientation meeting and complete our onboarding process, where they will receive an overview of assigned tasks, guidance on how to use ClickUp (our project management tool) and access key folders/documents, and familiarize themselves with the organization and its brand assets. After the onboarding process is complete, students will have weekly scheduled meetings with their supervisor and team members.
