PR/Marketing InternAt — Girls Incorporated of Orange County

Girls Inc. is seeking a student with a background in PR/Marketing to work with our Corporate Partners Department.

• Assist with research on OC Women Owned Businesses and Women Networks in the Orange County area
• Organize Information Sessions and Lunch & Learns with new companies
• Oversee gathering of information to create Corporate Partners Marketing video
• Create Monthly Social Media posts focused on Corporate Partners
• Organize and assist with our Stewardship efforts
• Update current Marketing materials on a as needed basis

Attend Corporate and Development Meetings on a bi-weekly basis
Identify and create news worthy pieces on Corporate Engagement on a bi-weekly/monthly basis on all social media platforms
Create pieces on Corporate Engagement for Social Media posts and Constant Contact
Create Stewarding and Thank you emails, social media, linked in posts
Work with our Marketing Coordinator regarding creating and formatting Create Corporate Partner Social Media posts
Training on Girls Inc National colors and logo guidelines
New Company research with an emphasis on Anaheim California

Training:

General Girls Inc On-Boarding info Session
Girls Inc. 101 Session
Introductions to Key Departments within the agency and their functions
1on1 Meetings weekly with Corporate Partners Dept.
Introduction to Marketing Department Team
Attend all fundraising events and program site visits as permited

Learning Agreement: 

Will have full knowledge of our PR/Marketing process and guidelines
Will have assisted in producing a Corporate Partners recruitment video
Will have experience in Drafting Social Media posts highlighting corporate partner highlights
Will have a researched and documented excel doc with Female Owned Businesses, Female Philanthropy Groups, throughout Orange County and high profile businesses in Anaheim
