Assist in completing data entry and follow up calls -assist with providing health education and promotion activity classes -assist with seeking for outreach opportunities -assist with improving clinic quality of care and patient experience -organize and support community health fair, vaccination site support, patient health education. to bring more health access to the underserved community.

Tasks:

Health Promotion/Health Education; Leadership and Management; Health Policy; Health Services and Administration

Training:

Weekly check-in sessions and hand on training for individual training per project

Learning Outcome:

By the end of the academic internship, the student will be able to have experience contacting new patients for outreach and enrollment services. Students will also be able to participate in essential community outreach events, data entry for quality improvement metrics, and, lastly, help with patient experience data collection and selection.
