Opportunity Summary 

Coaches/ volunteers will teach participants basic volleyball skills and about positive values and character. Practices will be held at WAYC: West Anaheim Youth Center or DAYC: Downtown Youth Center.
Qualifications:
* A commitment to the YMCA mission and its core values of honesty, respect, reasonability and caring as well as a commitment to building development assets in youth. Value diversity, youth, and have a broad vision of health and
wellness that is enhanced by relationship building.
* Ability to relate well to both children and their parents.

Training:

Volunteers must complete our child abuse training and sign the volunteer conduct form. Volunteers will also be train on all emergency drills (fire, lock-down, earthquake, etc.)

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of the internship the students will be able to identify our organizations purpose and how we serve our community.
