Opportunity Summary 

I am looking for multiple interns to assist with Sensation and Perception, Learning and Memory, and Psychology of Religion.

Teaching assistant for upper division psychology courses needed (PSYC 303, 302, 321).
Student is required to meet in person regularly and attend lectures each week. Student will work closely with the professor.

Tasks:

Student will assist with grading, holding office hours, responding to emails, and review sessions prior to exams.

Training:

Student will work alongside me. Weekly mentoring meetings (Monday and Wednesday from 11:15 am - 12:15 pm), training on Canvas tools like speed grader, rubrics, zoom. Job shadowing and application of skills.

Meet with the student weekly to discuss expectations, assignments, and rubrics.

Learning Outcome:

Understand the basics of teaching duties, use speed grader and rubrics, manage zoom meetings and discussion groups.

Understand the main duties of being a teacher
Compose class announcements and monitor student progress
Evaluate student work utilizing rubrics
