The Clubhouse InternAt — City of Lake Forest - The Clubhouse Senior Center

Description 

Under general supervision, assists in organizing and leading activities for the 50 and better community in the City's recreation programs; provides on-site supervision for program implementation; and provides facilities oversight and set-up during scheduled activities.

Examples of Duties

1. Assists in leading a variety of recreational program activities involved in the implementation of recreation programs including the 50 and better community and city-wide special events.
2. Supervises and monitors the behavior of activity and program participants; enforces applicable program rules and regulations.
3. Prepares various food/snacks for assigned programs.
4. Inventories equipment and supplies; cares for and maintains all equipment issued and informs supervisor when there are hazards or equipment replacement needs.
6. Performs light maintenance duties; provides facilities oversight and set-up during scheduled activities.
7. Maintains a safe program environment for participants and staff.
8. Organizes indoor/outdoor games, arts and crafts.
9. Works with the 50 and better community to develop and maintain a positive environment and personal relationships.
10. Sets up, cleans up, opens, and closes facilities.
11. Performs related duties as required.

5. The Clubhouse Intern will be responsible for designing , implementing, and executing a pop-up event.
