Opportunity Summary 

Description

The Community Intern is responsible for assisting the Director of Education and Social Media Manager with trend identification, community management and production of influencer marketing industry-related educational content for College of Influence and G&B Digital Management part-time during the Fall 2024 Semester. The Community Intern is passionate about digital storytelling, a quick learner who can be adaptable in a fast-paced environment, is excited to contribute creatively, and enjoys working collaboratively with others.

Responsibilities

  • Social media trend identification
  • Assist Community Manager in creating educational social media content
  • Assist content team in creating education course content
  • Administrative data entry
  • Assist Community Manager with on-platform engagement
  • Attend office events or company team building activities
  • In-office admin (i.e. filing and organization)
  • Local errands (i.e. coffee, lunch, or printing pick-ups, parcel drop-offs)
  • Assist Talent Management team with business development

Qualifications

Candidates must be actively pursuing a college degree and eligible to receive college credit.

Training:

Job shadowing, workshops/skills training, provision of work samples, and overview/contextualization of assigned tasks.

Learning Outcome:

By the end of the academic internship, the student will be able to identify social media trends, create education social media content, gain a knowledge of the influencer marketing industry and a better understanding of what it's like to work in a digital talent management firm.
