Training:

1. Provide access to Canvas & support them in learning these platforms
2. Share current teaching resources & strategies
3. Create weekly assignments/to-do lists to direct student work
4. Communicate with student regularly with positive and critical feedback
5. Encourage students to think creatively & feel safe in sharing their thoughts
6. team work, leadership, communication

Learning Outcomes:

1. Become more proficient with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
2. Have insight into various learning strategies that may help improve student experience
3. Utilize distance platforms related to online learning (e.g., Canvas)
4. Proofreading & effectively communicate via written word
5. Integrate creativity into academia
6. Obtain awareness of educational mission and challenges in a university setting
