Opportunity Summary 

Teen Leadership Foundation (TLF) has a mission to improve the lives of foster youth through our leadership-equipping programs and innovative transitional housing model. Based in Costa Mesa, CA, TLF’s programs include housing, employment workshops, and mentorship.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Interaction: Engage with clients in a respectful and empathetic manner, assisting with intake processes, assessments, and developing client-centered plans.
  • Case Management: Support and hands on case management experience. Maintain client records, scheduling appointments, and following up on client progress.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and preparing reports as needed.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in team meetings, contribute ideas, and work collaboratively with professionals from various disciplines.
  • Community Engagement: Represent TLF at community events, participate in outreach efforts, and support advocacy initiatives.
  • Special Projects: Contribute to special projects or research assignments that align with organizational goals and your professional interests.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university program, pursuing a degree in [relevant field such as Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, etc.].
  • Passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of others and committed to upholding ethical standards in human services.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Organizational skills with attention to detail, able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to learn new software or database systems as required.

Position: 90 hours or required hours

Location: TLF office (Costa Mesa)
