This position is for individuals who are interested in health care in the various operations of the hospital which includes information technology, finance, HR and other administrative responsibilities as well as, Health Sciences.

There are various positions that will acquaint students with various patient centered hours within Hospital partnerships. Minimum of 4 hours per week and with the hope of fulfilling 280 hours.  Upon Completion of the hours you will received Patient Centered Certificate for Keck Graduate Institute.

Tasks:

The tasks are dependent on the department that they are placed in but duties can be
1. Helping Nurses with Patient Care
2. Answer Phones for Nurse Station
3. Sit and connect with patients
4. Office Support for Business

Training:

1. Overview and Tour of the Partner site.
2. Several in Person and Training Modules
3. Partner and shadow other team members
4. Meeting with Site Program Manager

How to provide quality patient care at Partner Sites
Learn about the various parts that make up the health care delivery system.
Continued Professional Development.
