Animation Libation Studios, LLC offers non-paid internships for undergraduate students currently enrolled in an accredited college or university taking an internship class or the equivalent for college credit. Interns learn the inner workings of the creative and technical process of animation both 2d and Cg.  Interns gain insight into artist's responsibilities in a collaborative team environment in various stages of an animation production, as well as experience how a large scale animation film festival is produces, as the studio produces episodic animated pilots 2d and cg for TV series.

Tasks:

CG Productions: Modeling, Lighting, Texturing, Animation, Rendering , compositing.
2D Productions: Character & Background Design, Story boarding, animation, compositing, rendering.

Training:

Additional Training in the production skills of creating a 2d or CG animated film: CG Productions: Modeling, Lighting, Texturing, Animation, Rendering , compositing.
2D Productions: Character & Background Design, Story boarding, animation, compositing, rendering.

Learning outcome:

Work on a production team (2d or Cg): Demonstrate successful scheduling of a project, and apply presentation techniques
Refine and 2d/CG animation skills in character animation
Design layout and use of camera skills
Apply industry-standard storyboard and scripting techniques to animation
Animation Pipeline: Create a fully prepared animation short, developing story, character designs, storyboard, and a production pipeline of the project including rendering and animatics
