Overview:
As a Marketing Intern at New Heritage Recruiters, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our brand presence and outreach efforts. This position is designed to offer hands-on experience in the marketing field, particularly within the healthcare and staffing industry. Your responsibilities will include managing and creating content for our social media platforms, engaging with healthcare professionals online, and supporting our marketing campaigns through various channels. This internship will provide you with valuable industry knowledge and practical skills, making you well-prepared for a career in marketing.

The intern will demonstrate achievement of the learning outcomes by:
• Managing Social Media: Regularly updating and posting on social media platforms (Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Facebook) with content that aligns with NHR’s brand and goals.
• Content Creation: Posting jobs, articles, and other relevant content on the NHR LinkedIn account as well as the profiles of key team members.
• Community Engagement: Creating and managing Facebook groups to connect with nurses and healthcare professionals, fostering an online community that supports NHR’s objectives.
• Direct Marketing: Assisting in sending out postcards, holiday baskets, cards, and emailers to maintain and enhance client and candidate relationships.
• Brainstorming & Strategy: Contributing to brainstorming sessions to develop new marketing strategies that will increase NHR’s visibility in the market.
• Campaign Analysis: Tracking and reporting the success of marketing efforts, making data-driven suggestions for improvement.

Training:

To help the student achieve the learning outcomes, we will:
• Provide an initial orientation session to familiarize the intern with our company, brand voice, and marketing objectives.
• Offer weekly feedback sessions to review the intern’s work, discuss progress, and provide guidance.
• Conduct regular debriefings after major projects or campaigns to analyze results and identify learning points.
• Assign a mentor (one of the supervisors) who will be available for ongoing support and questions throughout the internship.
• Provide access to marketing tools and platforms with hands-on tutorials to enhance practical skills.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of the internship, the student will be able to:
• Develop and implement social media strategies tailored to the healthcare and staffing industry.
• Create and curate engaging content for various platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and X (formerly Twitter).
• Understand the dynamics of online community building, particularly within professional groups.
• Gain experience in direct marketing efforts such as email campaigns, postcards, and holiday promotions.
• Analyze and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and suggest improvements.
• Collaborate with team members to brainstorm innovative marketing ideas.
