Opportunity Summary 

Role Description 
This is a part-time role for a Marketing and Public Relations Intern. As an intern, you will assist in day-to-day marketing and public relations tasks such as market research, sales support, developing marketing strategies, and providing excellent customer service. This is a hybrid role based in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, with flexibility for some remote work. 

 
Qualifications 

  • Excellent communication skills 

  • Experience in market research and sales support 

  • Knowledge of marketing strategy development 

  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service 

  • Strong organizational and time management skills 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and social media platforms 

  • Detail-oriented and creative mindset 

  • Experience in the food service industry is a plus 

  • Enrollment in or completion of a degree program in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field is preferred 

Taskss:

- Create and execute marketing plans tailored to target audiences.
- Edit images for our various websites, create social media copy, and design engaging email campaigns.
- Perform research and analysis to support marketing efforts.
- Craft clear communication materials and manage customer interactions through various digital platforms.

Training:

During this placement, students will receive general training to support their learning outcomes. They will undergo an initial general product meeting to understand our products and company history. Daily meetings will be held to review work, discuss progress, and provide ongoing feedback. Additionally, students can receive training with various digital marketing tools such as Canva and Mailchimp, enhancing their skills in graphic design and email marketing.

Learning Outcome:

By the end of the academic internship, the student will be able to create and implement effective marketing strategies tailored to various target audiences, using research and digital marketing support to drive campaign success.

The student will also be able to craft clear, compelling communication materials and persuasive copy, enhancing their interactions with customers through social media, emails, and other channels.

Lastly, the student will effectively use digital marketing tools like Canva for graphic design and Mailchimp for email campaigns, creating engaging content and managing communications.
