Program LeaderAt — Action Youth America

The Program Leader/Coach will facilitate homework assistance/ tutoring (education), character development, recreation, and/or enrichment activities at an AYA school site. This position reports directly to the Site Coordinator.

TYPICAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reports and works cooperatively with the AYA Program Directors, Administration staff and Site Coordinators in establishing the after-school enrichment program.
• Always dress/behave appropriately and maintain AYA high standards of dress and behavior.
• Strive to ensure an inspiring, caring, exciting and stimulating learning environment.
• Attend AYA and district meetings and trainings, as required.
• Performs related duties, as assigned.

Tasks:

Training:

Students will receive in person training that include going over real scenarios, shadowing a school site and attending HR Orientation.

Learning Outcome:

Make constructive contact with parents, school staff and local community members.
Plan, coach and facilitate activities for students.
Supervises activities and students (provide a safe and organized environment).
