Elevated Behavioral Therapy Services (EBTS) is seeking compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technician Interns to join our team. As a family-run company with a focus on love and kindness, we are committed to improving the lives of individuals in our community who have been diagnosed with autism, Down syndrome, ADD, ADHD, and other developmental disabilities. Our mission is to deliver the highest quality therapy to help our early learners reach their potential to communicate, improve social skills and prepare for academic success. We train and certify ALL team members to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Providing 1:1 evidenced based interventions and skill-building techniques to young children in a home, school, or community setting.
- Managing and addressing challenging behaviors by following written behavior intervention plans.
- Documenting session notes using company assigned iPads summarizing session activities and progress.
- Taking data on targeted skills and behaviors to track progress.
- Creating visuals and materials needed for activities in lesson plans.
- Assisting with parent education as needed.
- Receiving ongoing support and supervision from a team of experienced BCBA-level staff.

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Prior experience working with children
- A commitment to learn and become certified as a Registered Behavior Technician
- Access to reliable transportation with active auto insurance and clean driving record
- Available to work a minimum of 15 hours per week
- Ability to pass TB Test or have current TB clearance
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Ability to collect data using company provided iPad
Desired Qualifications:
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification
- Bachelor’s in Special Education, Psychology, or related field
- Prior experience working in ABA as a behavior technician or similar role
- Bilingual
- Active First Aid/CPR Certification
- Active CPI Certification
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Effective time management skills
Training:
1:1 training weekly to apply general principles of learned ABA Therapy methodologies to the implementation of programming with clients within home and/or school based support sessions.
Learning Outcome:

Interacting with children with Autism have behaviors that require elevated levels of support. They may be aggressive. All Technicians are provided with training and Non-Violent Crisis Prevention/Intervention certification to ensure their safety and competence.
