We are a youth sports broadcast network looking for a Production Assistant Intern Work Experience Candidate. This is an exciting opportunity that will give you experience in broadcast production, marketing, internet and television broadcast distribution, and community engagement while also boosting your resume. You will work directly with the Marketing and Production teams while receiving exposure to many aspects of the Kids Sports News Network mission.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
• Must be dependable, punctual, and resourceful.
• Must have a professional attitude and appearance.
• Hours are flexible, averaging 10 to 20 hours per week
• Must have access to transportation
• Sports background a plus
• Good writing and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.

As a Production Assistant duties may include, but are not limited to:
• In-house or field research
• Assisting on shoots & the networks production schedule
• Scheduling & booking talent and crews
• Communication with youth sports organizations, corporate and industry
partners, television stations, general media and anything else the Marketing or Producer may assign to you.
Training:
Students will have the opportunity to test a future career in broadcast production to determine if it is a career path that is satisfying, while applying skills they have mastered in the classroom in a \\real world\\ setting. Students will assist network production crews with pre-production, production and post production duties inclusive of preparing story boards, filming, editing, casting, budgeting and prepping for interviews. Students will be trained on effective interviewing techniques while covering high profile youth sports organizations and brands connected to them and will receive training on industry practices that lead to a production product that represents our network effectively. They will receive training on prepping interviewees who come from a culture which is now driven by new trends in technology, the internet, entertainment, immediate gratification, social media popularity, and pop culture emergence, which represents our core demographic.
Learning Outcomes:
Students will learn what is required to launch a successful production from intake through completion after post production. They will meet with network designee's to discuss assignments, due dates and production schedules. Students will participate in production meetings, perform research, assist with film shoots and attend youth sports events for which they are assigned, such as games, tournaments marketing meetings and press conferences. Students will be exposed to and will engage with high profile professionals, youth sports organizations and brands connected to the Youth Sports Industry
