By the end of the internship, the student will be able to analyze and interpret complex data sets using industry-standard tools and techniques to support informed decision-making. They will develop project management skills, allowing them to manage timelines, resources, and milestones to ensure successful project completion. In addition, the student will gain the ability to conduct market research, identify trends, and offer strategic recommendations to drive business growth and competitiveness. For those in technical roles, they will write and debug code in key programming languages, contributing to the development of functional software or applications that align with client needs. The student will also be able to design and prototype user-friendly products, incorporating best practices in user experience (UX) design.

Throughout the internship, I will hold one-on-one meetings with the student on a weekly basis to review their progress toward their learning outcomes, discuss ongoing projects, and address any questions or challenges they may face. These meetings will also serve as an opportunity to provide real-time feedback on their work, helping the student refine their skills in areas such as policy analysis, legislative tracking, and stakeholder engagement. I will also conduct formal evaluations at the midpoint and conclusion of the internship, where we will discuss the student’s overall performance and identify areas for growth or further learnin

o help the student achieve their learning outcomes in the field of government relations, I will implement a structured training approach that combines direct instruction, observational learning, and regular feedback. I will begin by providing a comprehensive orientation to the field of government relations, including an overview of key stakeholders, relevant regulations, and the legislative processes that impact our work. This will include both in-person and remote briefings, as well as reading materials, so that the student can gain a foundational understanding of the industry.
