Brief and details overview of the important roles and duties of an HR and Office Assistant in our company.
HR Assistant: Will assist in employees relations, training and development, compliance and record-keeping and policy development and implementation and possible organizational development. She will also assist and support with the below duties;
1. **Recruitment Support:**
- Assist with job postings and coordinate interviews.
2. **Onboarding:**
- Facilitate orientation and prepare onboarding materials.
3. **Record Management:**
- Maintain employee files and HR databases.
4. **Payroll Assistance:**
- Support payroll processing and respond to inquiries.
5. **Benefits Administration:**
- Help employees with benefits enrollment and questions.
Office Assistant:
1. **Administrative Support:**
- Answer phones and manage correspondence.
2. **Scheduling:**
- Coordinate meetings and maintain calendars.
3. **Data Entry:**
- Prepare documents and input data accurately.
4. **Customer Service:**
- Assist visitors and handle inquiries.
These roles are crucial for maintaining efficient HR operations and a positive workplace environment.
Tasks:
She will assist us to promote, implement and communicate HR policies and procedures. She will promote health and safety initiatives within the organization. She will support and assist us in culture building efforts and employee engagement strategies and she will be assisting and shadowing us in employee relations management by addressing employees issues and concerns, fostering a positive work environment within the organization.
Training:
The training will include weekly scheduled one-on-one mentor meetings, job shadowing, workshops/skills training, provision of work samples, contextualization of assigned tasks. HR Assistant training will also includes the following :
