Opportunity Summary 

The intern will assist the instructor by responding to any student's question or needs to the class by email. (D) 24-48 hrs

The Intern will be conducting Office Hours weekly and communicate when attendance changes. (W)

The Intern will be attending class meetings weekly if class is in person or communicate any changes. (W)

The intern will prep before the class to understand the material better to facilitate group discussion between students. (W)

The intern will send weekly announcement for reminders of office hours, or/and special reminders for what is due or coming up based on schedule. (W)

The Intern will take liberty to answer canvas messages of students as best as they can and report to instructor when support needed. (D)

The Intern will support instructor by checking if links and assignments are working properly. (W)

#Either8or9 The Intern will facilitate an instructional activity to all students; activity provided by the instructor on a week of intern’s choice. It will include some minimal prep time, and instructions can be provided. (T)

The Intern will hold exam reviews, develop study guides, and methodologically input exams given structured instructions. (M)

The intern will grade weekly low-stakes assignments on time. (W)

The intern will give grades and feedback on the students’ short writing assignment. (T)

The student will learn to collaborate and increase verbalization with instructor and others by using supervision wisely.

The student will learn realistic expectations and how to take direction into what they are in pursuit of.

The student will learn media skills and computer generated skills that this generation is in pursuit of (digitally).

All these practices will be given ample instruction and oral/written guidance and support.
