Hiring Behavior Interventionists in OC!!
We are hiring part-time behavior interventionists south, central, and north OC. Hours are typically from 10 - 30 hours per week. Most cases require afternoon hours from 2 - 7 PM. Hours for this position often line up well with students' schedules.

We are looking for Behavior Interventionists who are friendly, dependable, and GREAT with children. We have a need for both English and Spanish/English speaking therapists.
Behavior Interventionists receive initial and ongoing training from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Those who wish to pursue BCBA certification are eligible to receive supervision of their experience hours.
Working with children who have autism, providing Applied Behavior Analysis, is a very fun and rewarding career. Behavior Interventionists are often assigned to one or more cases. For each case, they provide one on one teaching in a play based setting - usually the home of the client. The supervisor, or BCBA, creates the programs/lessons to be taught. Behavior Interventionists implement those programs and work with the families.
Requirements:
AA and 6 months + of ABA experience OR Bachelor's degree in Psychology/Social Work/similar and experience with children
Driver's license
Auto insurance for your own car
Clean DMV record & no felonies or misdemeanors
We pay for mileage driven between clients. We also give regular raises based on performance.
Tasks
Study patient behavior and apply ABA principles
Respond appropriately to different situations common among Autism patients and others with behavioral and developmental challenges
Utilize key communication skills to provide effective feedback to patients
Effectively communicate positive feedback to patients
Be able to recognize and respond to critical improvements in patient behaviors.
Become familiar with and use behavioral redirection techniques
Know how to respond to negative behaviors appropriately
Provide written documentation on each patients.

Learning Outcomes:
Behavior Therapists will be able to learn more about autism spectrum disorder and similar diagnosis. They will be able to learn how to work reduce behaviors and increase more age appropriate behaviors as needed. Therapists will gain great experience working in a clinical setting and working with Behavior Analysts on their teams.
