We are seeking a talented, creative, and enthusiastic Graphic/Creative Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping the visual identity of our company across multiple platforms. You’ll work on the design of our product visuals, develop engaging website interfaces, and create cohesive branding materials that elevate our brand image and enhance user experience.
During the internship, students will take on a variety of design tasks that showcase and build their professional skills. They will create visually compelling new product flyers and promotional materials, ensuring these align with brand guidelines and capture customer interest. Students will assist in organizing and updating website content to improve user experience, applying user-centered design principles. Additionally, they will design holiday-themed flyers, bringing creativity and brand coherence to seasonal campaigns. Students will also conduct product photography and edit images to professional standards, ensuring product visuals are engaging and high-quality. Finally, they will collaborate on finalizing the product catalog book, refining its layout and design to produce a polished catalog that effectively showcases the company’s offerings. Through these tasks, students will gain hands-on experience with brand alignment, design tools, and real-world applications in graphic design and marketing.
Training:
Students will be provided with work samples showcasing effective brand-aligned design and clear context and objectives for their assigned tasks to understand project goals and desired outcomes. They will have access to literature and resources on branding, user experience design, and industry standards to support self-paced learning, with testing and feedback sessions to reinforce their understanding and application of these resources. Additionally, students will participate in weekly mentor meetings to review progress, discuss challenges, and receive feedback, ensuring personalized guidance and continuous improvement throughout the internship.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of the academic internship, the student will be able to assess and adapt design concepts to align with brand guidelines and appeal to target audiences, skillfully balancing creativity with strategic objectives. They will confidently use industry-standard design software, such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, to produce professional-quality graphics, layouts, and digital assets. Additionally, the student will effectively apply visual design principles to create cohesive and on-brand designs that enhance the company's brand image and resonate with the intended audience. Finally, they will develop user-centered web and interface designs, ensuring an intuitive and visually engaging experience for digital platform users.
