Development AccountantAt — RD Olson Development

Looking for an accountant to support the development unit for a construction company in Irvine.  This position will report to the Development Controller and provide support to the CFO.  We are looking for a candidate would that has strong communication, organization, and technological skills, as wells as, detail-oriented, energetic, and focused.

Prepare timely monthly financial statements for multiple companies.
• Perform day-to-day banking activities (voids, stop payments, deposits, wire transfer setup, ACH payments, etc.)
• Ensure the timely completion of a variety of accounting processes, including monthly bank reconciliations, check processing, and posting daily cash activity.
• Process journal entries, A/R, A/P, and day-to-day transactions for multiple companies.
• Lead team member for external audits.
• Communicate effectively and accurately with other departments to ensure accounting functions are completed accurately and timely.
• Undertake other projects as required by the controller.

Training:

Initial on-boarding will be completed the HR Director.
Training will be hands on working directly with the team members or controller.
One-on-one meeting will be conducted once a week to training and progress of skills needed to complete job duties.
